Effective June 1, the following is available to the public:
• Unlimited visits to the library per day
• No time limit on length of visits during normal library hours
• One hour of public computer time daily

“The safety of our staff and community has been our primary concern,” Library Director Robert Rynkiewicz said. “We’re excited to be able to safely take these steps as COVID-19 cases decline and more people get vaccinated.”

Staff members and those visiting the library will be required to wear a mask while inside the building. The public seating area will remain closed temporarily.

The library will re-examine its mask requirement, expanded hours of operation and more in the coming weeks.

“We anticipate being able make our facilities and services more accessible as the summer progresses,” Rynkiewicz said.

Main Library hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4:30 p.m. Richmond Branch Library is open Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4:30 p.m. Please note Main Library will be closed May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.
